The hard way

Most people arrive at leadership by different paths.

Sometimes those paths are well worn—shaped by our own leaders and mentors.

Other times, we cut the path ourselves, picking up ideas, tools and techniques along the way.

When it comes to 'creative leadership', I’d guess most leaders are the latter.

Learning the hard way.

That learning shapes how we see the work. And it can be very different depending on whether you’re a ‘creative’ who’s grown into leadership, or a leader who’s stepped into a 'creative' field.

There’s no clear map or singular definition.
